Highlights include guitar master classes, guitar exhibits, competitions and concerts by famous world-class guitarists from: Thailand; Italy; Japan; England; Ukraine; United States; Poland; the Philippines; Switzerland; Czech Republic; Cuba; Germany; Indonesia and Korea.
On the first day, the master guitar class will be led by Sachico Miyashita to be followed by a performance of the Gypsy Medley in the evening by well-known guitarists Galina Vale and Sakol Siripipattanakul.
Other performances include those by the Wong-Kojorn Guitar Quarter from Thailand and the University of the Philippines Guitar Quintet.
The event will also feature a guitar competition open to all nationalities, with the winner receiving a free guitar, case, string set, a certificate and performance rights for four prestigious future events.
The festival will then conclude with a duo concert by world renowned players: Yavet Boyadijev (violin) and Paul Cesarczyk (guitar).
