Saphan Hin in Phuket is known to attract all manner of interesting vehicles, but next week will mark a first for the park when it will host the Muse Mobile, a mobile museum project created by The National Discovery Museum Institute (NDMI).
The exhibit takes its guests back about 2,000 years to a time when Thailand was called Suvarnabhumi “The Land of Gold”, explained Suppakorn Poonyarith, NDMI Acting Head of Museums Network and Knowledge Development Department.
Muse Mobile comprises of four separate exhibits: “What is real Thai?”; “Where is Suvarnabhumi?”; “Bangkok Portrayed Under the Image of Ayutthaya” and “The Turning Point of Thailand”.
In addition to the four exhibits, Mr Suppakorn explained there would be interactive activities for guests to learn more about Suvarnabhumi and the ancient forebears of present day Thais.
Admission to the Muse Mobile is free of charge.
